Today I finished reading one of the most engrossing novels I have ever read, The Road. Before starting to read the book I was very skeptical, sadly I do not think much of Oprah’s Books Club, and my friend Eric railed very hard against McCarthy because he disliked, No Country for Old Men, a previous novel of his.
My opinion is this, before I finished the book I wanted to start reading it again and worth of the Pulitzer Prize it won. This is a huge endorsement on my part, I generally never re-read a novel.
